How does it work?

People looking for jobs sign up to the service by sending an SMS message to 9970, with the job type they are seeking. Automatically their telephone number is stored in the database.

Job offers are processed by SMS Job Beurs and are sent to the people that are registered under the job type that is being offered.

The job seekers receive an SMS every time a job is offered for the category they are registered in (one may register for more than one category). The message contains the contact information and other instructions (i.e. the telephone number they should call to get information, the contact person’s name, etc.). The costs for SMS’s are carried by the job seekers.

Companies and individuals may offer jobs to the people listed in the databank. To do so they have to contact SMS Job Beurs, pay a fee and their message will be sent to all the categories they choose. The job seekers may contact them directly.

What do you need to do?

As a job seeker:

Job seekers apply by sending an SMS message to 9970 with the code related to the job you are looking for (one may sign up for as many categories he/she wants). Each time there is a job offer a message will be sent to all telephone numbers listed under the job codes (cost are ANG. 0.75 per message). To sign off just send the off(space)code (i.e. off medic) to 9970.

As a job provider:

As a company or as a private individual you may use the service.

You may choose between a 1 time use fee (ANG. 45,00). For one time usage, the payment is done in advance.

If you are a job agency or a company that regularly is looking for employees it is more cost effective to become a member of SMS Job Beurs. All you have to do is to register your company and subscribe to become a member.(ANG. 65,00 monthly membership fee + ANG. 25,00 per SMS batch (one code). In this case the billing cycle will be done monthly. Your company receives the invoice per e-mail. Inscription form (download).
